Antimony cannot easily be oxidated at room temperature except in the high temperature, it also exhibit a good resistance to corrosion. Antimony can occur chemical reaction with fluorine, chlorine, bromine. Meanwhile, it can be easily soluble in hot nitric acid and react with hot sulfuric acid.
